Keep it simple
For a business site, it's better to be inclusive rather than exclusive in terms of the technology you use.
There's simply no point in using code that excludes a good percentage of your customers.
That means avoiding java navigation, obscure DHTML menus, and all microsoft-only code for IE unless you're sure it doesn't break other browsers.
