Web Marketing Guide

Download a copy of the
Web Marketing Guide (675kb) to assist planning the promotion of your site.

What do I need to supply for you to build a web site?

Because you know your business and clients better than we do, your input is vital at the design stage of your web site. We request you provide the necessary items to make up the content of your site. However we leave the amount of control in the design process up to you.

It will save you (and us) time and money if you have any of the following items:

  • text content (spell and grammar checked, targeted to your audience and edited) Note: we are happy to provide suggestions and feedback on your writing style and how it could be adapted for web publishing
  • company logos or letterhead
  • quality photographs or images
  • brochures
  • previous print advertising material

If your business does not have the time or the resources, we can help with the content. This can include copy content, original photography, logo design and creation and branding.

Web design & development tip

Usability and accessability

Usability has become a watchword for web design over the last couple of years. This is generally trumpeted by usability guru Jakob Neilsen and the like.

It's important to make sure your site is usable and accessible to as wide a range of people as possible. This just makes good business sense!
